Xavier Frissant
Xavier Frissant

Xavier Frissant cultivates 27 hectares in the Maune region, south of the Loire River.
He works with ultra-resonance, close to organic cultivation, considering micro-climates and reducing human impact on the vineyards to protect the eco-system, separating all of the same grapes in each vineyard so as to extract all the terroir characteristics in the cellar.
The Sauvignon Blanc from the Touraine AOC is the grape that absorbs the minerality of the terroir well. For several years now, Xavier Frissant has been growing an older grape variety.
It is a grape variety called Fier Gris, another name for Sauvignon Rose.
