This London Dry Gin is distilled from a rare plant from the Shfolk coast of eastern England. Botanist James Firth, who studied at Oxford University, has revived an old English herb, Shoutwold (Southwold).
Distiller Joanne McCarty, who studied at Oxford University, has revived a long-established English herb in the city of Shoutwold, and has distilled it from a forgotten plant aroma.
Distiller Joanne McCarty built a modern distillery to capture the forgotten aromas of the plants.
It won the Upscale Award. It has been called the most expensive tasting gin in the U.K.
It is a gin that is popular all over the world, so only 30,000 bottles are produced.
It arrived in Japan for the first time in 2018.
