Berries from old vines in the three villages in the heart of the Faujères AOC are sorted and all the stalks are removed. The grapes are then macerated for three weeks and aged in stainless steel tanks for one year. The color is deep purple and the aroma is very rich. It has blackberry, cherry, and raspberry-like fruit and spices such as black pepper, cinnamon, and thyme. The palate is concentrated with powerful but pleasantly smooth tannins. This is a wine in the tradition of the estate and best expresses the character of Faujères.
