Benoit Roseau founded the estate in 2010 out of his passion for the Rhône. Currently, he manages 3.70 hectares of vineyards, stretching 45 km along the Rhone River from Tupin-et-Semons in the AOC Côte-Rôtie to Saint Désirat in the AOC Saint-Joseph.

The Rhone grape varieties, especially Syrah, Roussanne, and Viognier, are carefully cultivated organically.

The summers in this region are very hot, and Benoit Roseau designed and built his own cellar to protect the wines from the heat during maturation. The cellar is semi-subterranean, framed with solid pine from the Loire forests, and the walls are coated with straw and earth (just like traditional Japanese mud walls!). The walls are coated with straw and earth (just like traditional Japanese mud walls!), and the roof is made of 34 cm of sheep's wool and wood fibers for excellent insulation.
