Château Tronquois-Lalande is the oldest and most venerable château in the village of Saint-Estèphe, north of the Médoc, and the estate's origins date back to the 18th century.

It owns 30 hectares of vineyards.

Since 2006, it has been owned by the French Bouygues Group, the same owners as Château Montrose.

Wine critic Robert Parker has praised it as “offering all the elements of a great wine.
